Meet Ms. Mei B. Hui
Passionate, compassionate educator
who started her career in education at age 14, gaining 20+ years of learning from others and herself. As a product of NYC DOE’s public education system K-12, Mei is an ENL teacher with the NYC DOE gaining her professional license in TESOL Prek-12th grade. She is also licensed in GenEd (1-6) and a Spanish Bilingual Extension (Prek-6). She then decided to expand her passion for teaching and private tutoring by launching Gifted Genius Prep NYC L.L.C. She has positively directly impacted hundreds of children’s lives individually and continues to do so. Native New Yorker born to immigrant parents. Lifelong and avid learner. Trusting in her spiritual faith, support from family, friends, and network to make a difference. Spreading unconditional love to the world and taking risks to leave a legacy.

Remote : $70+/session
In Person :+$25 per visit
Additional per 15 minutes increments= $20
Gold
Tutor with at least 5-7 years of teaching experience.
Remote : $55+/session
In Person :+$25 per visit

Silver
Ivy League College Student with at least 2-3 years of teaching experience
Remote : $50+/session

HS Student or College Student with at least 1-2 years of teaching experience.

Complimentary consultation and assessment. Sessions start at $25 for 30 minutes. Then you pay as you go after each session (by midnight). No contract.
I started teaching while I was in college studying elementary education. I have gained over 10 years of experience teaching in public schools, charter schools, tutoring centers, and now the founder/lead tutor of my tutoring company.
I have extensive experience with Students with Special Needs, English Language Learners, and Gifted Students. They range from age 3- adult. My expertise is with ages 4-12 years old or PreK-6th grade.
I’m very humbled to share that one of my 2nd graders that I tutor jumped from level F to a letter M in just about 6 months. Another accomplishment is that my 5th grade student aced her Math exam with high 90s while before she was only getting 60s before tutoring.
